My button artwork "We matter" is inspired by peace, beauty and diversity. The message behind this artwork is ‘Being seen, being heard and just being as colorful, diverse and unique as we are.’ How can we change this world for the good when we understand that we are all connected and that we all matter? This goes hand in hand with the question of our own identity and what our role in society is.
