I am a German Fashion Designer and believe that the Fashion Industry today can do better regarding its social and environmental impact. In 2018, I moved from Germany to Milwaukee, WI, which I currently call home.
I studied Fashion Design in Germany and graduated with honors in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts. I have participated in several fashion shows and was honored to make my first American debut at MKE Fashion Week 2019.
I founded Anke Wonder to address the need for sustainable fashion in bold colors and lively patterns. While I believe in a minimalist wardrobe, I also believe it can be as colorful and fun as we desire.
With this vision, I personally design fabric patterns inspired by my original acrylic paintings and digital illustrations, making each Anke Wonder garment a piece of wearable art.
In addition, every garment is sewn as a miniature version to fit Barbie or Ken-sized dolls using leftover fabrics. These small outfits not only reduce textile waste but also create unique designer pieces.
Anke Wonder was founded to inspire people everywhere. You can now find my designs on a variety of on-demand products, including notebooks, mugs and more directly on my website. As someone passionate about both fashion and cooking, I’ve also created unique kitchen accessories, including handmade potholders.
My passion for blending fashion and art has many facets. Have you discovered my hand-embroidered acrylic paintings? Hand-embroidery was one of the first sewing skills my grandma taught me as a young girl.
Since painting plays a significant role in the Anke Wonder brand, I have also been commissioned to paint outdoor murals. IIf you have an exterior façade or interior wall that needs vibrant art, I can help bring your vision to life.

The Brand Anke Wonder focuses not only on sustainable but also vegan garments because I believe that animals don’t belong in our clothes.
In order to reduce climate change effects, it is desirable to switch to a vegan diet, which is also healthier for humans. You can find my favorite plant-based recipes as part of my journal articles, along with my plant-forward designs in the garment section, perfect for fellow enthusiasts of a sustainable lifestyle.
