Hawaiian Mural - Take a vacation at home
What can be better than being every day on vacation from the comfort of your home? In response to the Covid-19 pandemic I was asked to create a Hawaiian Paradise, inspired by different sights like the Napali Coast, the Fern Grotto and the Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge. The FDL Reporter featured the Hawaiian Mural as an inspiration on how to stay mentally healthy and active during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Inspired by the Napali Coast and Spouting Horn of Kauai.
Inspired by the Kilauea Lighthouse and Wildlife Refuge.
Inspired by the Fern Grotto of Kauai.
What is Hawaii well known for? Hawaii is known for it's huge and iconic flowers
and beautiful Botanical Gardens.
The last section of this large mural is inspired by the most notable movies filmed in Hawaii; the first Jurassic Park, and several scenes from Jurassic World. In a time when the world 'shut down' there is no better place than being safe at home and drifiting of into your own world of imagination.
